Almond Cookies

Ground almondsIngredients:

¼ cup almond flour
¼ cup natural smooth almond butter
½ cup cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp almond extract
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbs. xylitol
2 Tbs. vanilla whey protein
½ Tbs. almonds, thinly sliced

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 F Put all ingredients except slice almonds into a bowl in The order listed. Beat at medium speed with an electric Mixer, until well blended. Dip your fingers in cold water, then roll dough into walnut Sized balls. Carefully place the balls on parchment paper Lined cookie sheets. Place a slivered almond in the center of Each cookie. Bake for 10 miinutes. Remove to a cooking rack. Allow cookies to cool before eating them.
